As such a crucial part of the video, the mise en scene portrays the overall mood and atmosphere of the video. By including this effect in the performance side of our music video, we will be looking to represent our band with a certain identity. On one hand, the black and white effect can add mystery to a song. This will be illustrative of the tone of the song which will work in line with the narrative. The use of black and white will create a certain aura to the band in the sense that they are authentic and 'indie' in the way that they dress in conjunction with the black and white effect.
