When creating my logo I wanted to make sure that he logo looked related to the genre that the band belongs to that being Indie Rock, Below was my first attempt:
I decided not to go with this design as it does not relate to the genre enough and I wanted to make sure that the logo had some relevance to the band, so I decided to rethink my use of font also the style of the font, this is how I came up with the logo below which I will be using on my final digipak design:
I feel as though this logo is visually unique and has relevance to the genre of the band. I had also created an inverted version of my logo so that I can implement the logo easily onto my front cover design:
This allows me to be able to blend the text into the background without having any masking or removing of the edges.
